Industry Background and Experience

Time in the industry: 9 years

Chris started his travel career working for Hays Travel Tour Operating as a Product Specialist before moving into their reservations team where he was booking packages with flights, hotels, transfers, rail, cruise, tours and excursions worldwide. Chris specialises in Asia, particularly Vietnam and Cambodia (although he has not personally visited!). Chris then worked for a Cruise.co.uk as a full-time Specialist Cruise Consultant working from home. Here I was purely selling Cruise holidays. Chris moved on 2 years later and joined the team here at JTA!

Chris is certainly well-travelled, particularly in Europe. I have travelled to France, Spain (mainland, Canaries and Balearics), Italy, Greece, Turkey, Poland, Egypt, Italy, Germany, Bulgaria, China, Hong Kong, Macau, Aruba and Bonaire.

Chris has also cruised with MSC, Celebrity, RCL, P&O, NCL and Holland America.

All-time favourite destination is Greece – Love the food, the people, and the scenery.

Fun Fact:

I was so scared of flying I used to have to get something from the doctor before every holiday and never did a Long Haul flight until I was 29 years old!
